Picture Gallery Contact us Area Photo Album 1 The parish of Haydon Wick includes much of the newer ‘Abbey Meads’ and some of the village shopping centre. The Post Office at the centre is much used since the loss of the Post Office at the then ‘SafeWays’ supermarket, which is now ‘Morrisons’. After the near completion of the development Abbey Meads, the Manor Farm house was rebuilt as a public house ‘The Manor Farm’. It is situated directly between the old and new areas of the Haydon Wick parish. In the High Street of Haydon Wick is of course the ‘Fox & Hounds’, note the two prominent lights high up on the wall. These are quite unusual and are not to be found on any other local public house. The Toby, set on the edge of Abbey Meads at the junction of lady lane and Thamesdown Drive. Originally had the ‘Wacky Warehouse’ as an attraction to young families. The carvery seems very popular. The ‘Blunsdon Arms’ being the latest addition to the area, situated on the northern side of the Junction at Lady Lane and Thamesdown Drive.
